Save Little Italy...
I was just reading an article about how we are going to miss little italy due to the new greed of Chinese entrepreneurs that are taking over the last pieces of the Italian neighbor when I notice this graffiti hiding around a closed shop corner and I realize that no matter how is important a cultural movement if there is no capital behind there is no stable future in this city, and maybe is something that create the big beauty and vibe... To our next generation the last word..

Escalators at Whitehall ferry terminal
This morning I got some time to spend with the workers at the ferry terminal in Manhattan. I was wondering why after more then one year the escalators was not repair yet..
Essentially what they refer to me is that first the insurance took same time to release the money and then that this is a custom work that will require 15 weeks to be completed, due to the fact that they start to work on the first two main ramps I'll hope to see them working no late then after San Valentine... I will keep you posted!

Sant Antonio in Harlem
Saturday August 10 was the celebration of Sant Antonio in the Italian community in east Harlem New York City.
I went there with my wife and our goddaughter and I was happily surprise to find out that it was not so much crowed and the feeling was like a big family reunion.
After a couple of song performed by the band they lift the statue of the Saint and the march around the neighbor our started!
