Solitary ride

While I was arriving in Staten Island, after noticed how sometimes the ferry can be so quite, I notice this solitary boat riding the river.

The foggy and the people sleeping around me give me the perfect scenario in my mind for this shoot..

Sant Antonio in Harlem

Saturday August 10 was the celebration of Sant Antonio in the Italian community in east Harlem New York City.

I went there with my wife and our goddaughter and I was happily surprise to find out that it was not so much crowed and the feeling was like a big family reunion.

After a couple of song performed by the band they lift the statue of the Saint and the march around the neighbor our started!

I like to believe that my old post "recycle vs security" it help to restore what I consider a right evolved opportunity for the recycling trash...say so I'm happy to show you that in the Whitehall ferry terminal they have put it back !!!!

Security against Recycle

This what I notice in the Ferry terminal of Whitehall Manhattan, there use to be container for recycling papers, aluminum  and bottle and the normal garbage.

Now after what happen in Boston I presume, they remove the recycling containers and we just step back on the evolution of creating a better place to live in....
